EELICONThe University of Stuttgart is one of Germany's leading technical universities with a strong focus on engineering sciences. The Institute of Human Factors and Technology Management (IAT) represents within the University of Stuttgart the fields of technology management and industrial engineering. The team to be involved Eelicon is the Competence Center R&D-Management that is both experienced supporting the development of suitable technical solutions for emerging business opportunities and the identification of suitable markets for new technologies and materials. The teams past project experience includes various industrial consulting projects, e.g. for the white goods market, that focused on the scanning for suitable industry sectors and application fields for radical product innovations. They have a semi-standardised approach for this challenge that can be adapted for different stakeholder needs.
The IAT works in close co-operation with the Fraunhofer IAO and can leverage IAO's competencies and resources for the project, including the extensive Fraunhofer expert network and IAO's IPR specialists.
