EELICONEControl-Glas is located in Plauen, Germany. The company, founded in 2005, is the only European company which offers electrochromic solar control glazing. EControl-Glas has 28 employees and a turn-over of about 500.000 € (in 2010). EControl-Glas has a production plant for coating electrochromic layers by means of sputtering, a plant for the production of ion conductive polymer films and for laminated safety glasses. EControl-Glas also has an applied R&D group with 3 PhD-chemists (organic, inorganic and electrochemist), a PhD-physicist and some technicians in physical and chemical laboratories.
